John Henry Group prides itself on building and establishing both successful and lasting relationships through our supply chain and feel it is a crucial part of our success.
Whether we are looking at building a new fibre network or taking on remedial and civils work for a housing developer, our focus to develop a collaborative relationship with our supply chain partners has become vital to not only manage risk and reduce cost but also to give back to the community through our use of suppliers in and around the areas we operate in.
We pride ourselves in resourcing responsibly and to become a supplier to John Henry Group we will require you to complete a preferred supplier form before we can accept you onto our procurement database as an accredited partner to our business.
What do suppliers need to consider to be a John Henry Group supply chain partner?
Evidence of safe working practice
Our priority is safety first and we expect that our suppliers engage with us transparently and clearly around their safety policies, especially if you are supplying to our sites. We will ask you to reference any credentials that will count towards your supply chain application and we will also perform background checks where required.
Financial stability
We expect our supply chain partners to be financially stable with credible corporate governance procedures. We may perform financial checks where appropriate.
Responsible resourcing of materials
We believe in responsible resourcing and we work with suppliers to ensure we are resourcing responsibly both environmentally and in terms of ensuring fair trade is realised where required.
Responsible approach to people and recruitment
John Henry Group places people first. We have a strict approach to equal rights in the workplace and we expect the same from out supply chain. We advocate the eradication of all forms of slavery and have prepared our own modern slavery policy, here. We ask that all suppliers adopt the same stance to equal rights as we do.
Bribery Act
John Henry Group employees have completed anti-bribery training and are aware of laws in relation to The Bribery Act. Any efforts to entice business through bribery will not be tolerated by our procurement department and existing suppliers may be dismissed from their supply chain arrangement with us if evidence of bribery is discovered.
